A diesel generator and compressor in one unit has been introduced by Next Generation Power Engineering, Inc.. This new product is a compact unit that measures just 42 x 26 x 30 inches and weights 375lbs and comprises a powerful generator with a heavy duty compressor.
There is no need for separate fuel supplies as both the compressor and generator run on the same fuel system. The Schultz air compressor has CNC machined parts and operates at just 1,000 rpm which ensures a long life The compressor is capable of producing 20 cubic feet per minute of air at 150 psi and 5 kilowatts of power.
The generator is diesel powered for longer life, higher fuel efficiency and less maintenance than gasoline driven generators. The water cooled 2 cylinder Kubota engine runs at 2,800 rpm and features a combustion system that uses less fuel and produces a cleaner exhaust while giving a higher energy output.
The recommended retail price of the combined generator/compressor is $6495.
